An Unholy Alliance

One thing us poorly educated Trump voters have been sharp enough to figure out for quite a while now is that there exists an unholy alliance between media and government. Whether it’s the failing New York Times printing information at the behest of the failing CIA or simply anti-Trump bureaucrats leaking smears to damage the boss, you’d be hard-pressed to find a Trump voter that doesn’t understand the media’s relationship with the Swamp, if the two can even be considered independent of one another.

Well whaddayaknow…..yet more proof has surfaced, and yet another story can shed the “conspiracy theory” label assigned by the very legacy media that is being exposed.

A #BigFat new batch of text messages between our favorite FBI lovebirds has been revealed, and this info dump is among the most damning thus far. The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee reports that senior members of the FBI and DOJ worked together to leak Carter Page FISA info, much of it unverified (which is a scandal in itself, but we’ve discussed that) to the Fake News, who giddily published the info in one of its fakest fake news feats to date.

Let’s dive in.

Rep. Mark Meadows, R-NC, sent the letter to Deputy Att

The Oversight Committee’s findings were encapsulated in a letter to Deputy AG Fraud Rosenstein from Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC).

The letter comes about as a result of documents obtained over the past month (now we see why it took so long) that detail conversations between #2 counterintelligence man Peter Strzok and his mistress, FBI lawyer Lisa Page. And boy, are they informative.

Here is the full letter from Meadows to Rosenstein:

Full Meadows Letter

Essentially, it spells out how Strzok and Page conspired to leak information to the press once the Page FISA warrant was issued, for the purpose of harming the president, of course.

Here are two examples listed in the letter:

  • April 10, 2017: (former FBI Special Agent) Peter Strzok contacts (former FBI Attorney) Lisa Page to discuss a “media leak strategy.” Specifically, the text says: “I had literally just gone to find this phone to tell you I want to talk to you about media leak strategy with DOJ before you go.”
  • April 12, 2017: Peter Strzok congratulates Lisa Page on a job well done while referring to two derogatory articles about Carter Page. In the text, Strzok warns Page two articles are coming out, one which is “worse” than the other about Lisa’s “namesake”.” Strzok added: “Well done, Page.”

If text messages celebrating the leaking of the story to the media aren’t enough for our leftist friends, perhaps the timeline will convince them. The nauseating self-congratulatory texts regarding the Page stories were sent on April 10, 2017. The failing Washington Post printed their OMG CARTER PAGE IS LITERALLY VLADIMIR PUTIN WEARING A SOPHISTICATED MASK story on April 11, 2017. Even our coochie-headed brethren can do the math on that bad boy. The very next day, folks.

This raises another point that I haven’t seen in any other publications. Are we to believe that the Washington Compost had no idea who they were speaking with? Yes, Strzok used Page to do the leaking, so for all they knew it was some lawyer with great access. But did they ask themselves how she got access to the some of the most classified documents available? FISA material related to old counterintel probes is highly classified. FISA material related to an ongoing probe is insanely sensitive.

In other words, the “professional investigative journalists” at the WP should have at least had the presence of mind to question how they were coming into contact with this information, SINCE ONLY A VERY SMALL, SELECT GROUP OF PEOPLE DIRECTLY INVOLVED WITH THE INVESTIGATION SHOULD HAVE THEM. No, Page’s position did not grant her access to documentation from counterintel probes. That’s absurd.

My larger point here is that the Post should have known that the very people who were investigating PDT were trying to undermine his presidency. That’s a pretty big story, doncha think?

So no, don’t give me this nonsense about “the press were unwitting participants.” They knew exactly what was happening. And if they didn’t, they’re too incompetent to hold their positions.

For what seems like about 20 years, I’ve been begging GOP committee members to call for non-corrupt agents in the FBI to come forward. Well, it took about 2 years, but we’re seeing hopeful signs.

Meadows is now demanding that the DOJ turn over more emails and text messages of other senior DOJ and FBI officials who may know something about what has been happening and may not be okay with it.

“In light of the new information, our task force is requesting to review text messages, emails, and written communication form FBI and DOJ officials Stu Evans, Mike Kortan, and Joe Pientka between June 2016 to June 2017,” said Meadows in the letter. “To be clear, we are not suggesting wrongdoing on the part of Evans, Kortan, and Pientka- and, in fact, previously reviewed documents suggest that some of these individuals may share the committees’ same concerns.”

“However, these additional documents, with an emphasis on communication between the aforementioned individuals and Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, and Andrew Weissmann, would provide critical insight into the backdrop of the Russia investigation.”

The most important name out of that bunch, potentially, is Joe Pientka. He’s a Special Agent in the FBI’s Russia division. More importantly, he interviewed General Mike Flynn when he was still National Security Advisor Flynn, alongside…guess who…Peter Strzok.

And get this, according to Leakin’ James Comey – yes, James Friggin Comey – neither Strzok nor Pientka believed Gen. Flynn to have lied to them. Yet Flynn was railroaded out of his position and charged with lying to the FBI by King Bob Mueller’s office after months of relentless questioning. By all accounts, Gen. Flynn was pressured into his guilty plea by threats of bankruptcy via legal costs and the prospect of his family being targeted for legal trouble.

And why was this done to him? In this analyst’s opinion, it was done for the exact same reason as Strzok and Page leaked to the media — to justify their witch hunt.

Remember, they knew they had nothing. Even the man to whom they attribute the launch of the Trump probe, George Papadopoulos, was revealed to them to be a benign campaign volunteer from the onset. Then the bureau shifted all its attention to the dossier, which they knew to be unverified garbage spewed from a virulently anti-Trump British spy hired by Fusion GPS, who were themselves hired by the Clinton campaign.

Thus far, the FBI is not playing ball with the congressional subpoena on Pientka. They do have say when it deals with one of their active agents, unfortunately. But you know who has say over the FBI? Christopher Wray, who can order compliance right this second. Or even Keebler Jeff Sessions, should he suffer a rare bout of usefulness.

Carter Page wasn’t the only member of the Trump orbit to have ‘explosive’ investigative information leaked to the press. In this instance, the victim was the now scalped Paul Manafort, the subject his dealing with Ukranian officials. God help them if they ever looked into Tony Podesta’s connections with the Ukraine. I know, I know, he’s a Clinton-ite. It will never happen.

But this one did, and guess what — it happened a day after top Mueller pit bull Andrew Weissmann met with the very outlet who published the story: the Associated Press.

Why, I’m starting to notice a pattern here.

Sara Carter reports that sources familiar with the Weissmann/AP meeting revealed a promise by reporters to share documents and other information gleaned from their own investigation with the Justice Department.

AP spokeswoman Lauren Easton refused to discuss her sources, obviously, but gave a lawyerly denial of what those sources charge:

“Associated Press journalists meet with a range of people in the course of reporting stories, and we refrain from discussing relationships with sources. However, the suggestion that AP would voluntarily serve as the source of information for a government agency is categorically untrue,” said Easton.

Note that she says “the source” rather than “a source.” That’s the lawyerly part.

I suppose Ms. Easton wants us to believe that they never followed through on their end of the deal; that no information was traded in exchange for the Manafort leak. What’s said is that the DOJ even needs to do this. Are they so incompetent that they need the AP to do their heavy investigative lifting? Or was this an “all hands on deck” moment? I’ll go with the latter.

The good news is Meadows may have some more honest FBI agents to contact. Taken directly from Sara Carter’s report:

That meeting with the AP was attended by three different litigating offices. Two employees from the U.S. Justice Department and the other representative was from the U.S. Attorney’s office, according to the sources. FBI agents also attended the meeting, law enforcement sources confirmed.

According to sources, the FBI agents in attendance filed a complaint about Weissmann and the meeting with the DOJ fearing his arrangement of such a meeting would hurt the investigation.

An official complaint…..nice! You know what that means — there’s a paper trail regarding this meeting. And whatever was said was bad enough for FBI agents to file paperwork. How about let’s see that complaint, whaddayasay, PDT?

For those keeping score at home, this means that not only was the very man who launched the Russian collusion probe, Peter Strzok, leaking investigation info to damage PDT,  A FLIPPIN’ PROSECUTOR ON THE MUELLER TEAM DID THE SAME WITH INFO ON PAUL MANAFORT.

The Mueller investigation itself is a continuation of the counterintel probe started by the corrupt Peter Strzok, and now we have proof that CURRENT members of the Mueller team were up to exact same type of shenanigans.

This is an absolute outrage.

This is but one more damning piece of evidence toward completing what is undoubtedly an even more disturbing larger picture.

What more do we need to see before declaring that the entire Russia probe – the probe currently helmed by the irreproachable Bob Mueller – was and is nothing more than an operation to combat the Trump presidency.

As a former spook, I can’t stress to you enough the significance of a counterintel agent – the #2 CI agent in all the FBI, no less – taking information from a FISA warrant and giving it to the press. What may be even more disturbing is the fact that he celebrated it on an FBI-issued phone. How does a man so stupid ascend the ranks to such a position? Is this really the best of the FBI? Is this really FBI material at all?

The truth is it has nothing to do with intelligence. He believed himself untouchable. It’s the only explanation for an otherwise bright man committing such unforgivably stupid acts. The good news is that this attitude is a recurring theme in D.C., which begs the question, what other juicy stuff was left behind? If we’ve been made aware of this, what have we yet to learn?

Might I remind you, Leakin’ James Comey didn’t get his nickname out of thin air and Deep State McCabe is literally under grand jury investigation for much of the same behavior. Meadows is clearly correct in his assertion that a “systemic culture of leaking” has taken hold of the FBI and DOJ. The only question now is how far it’s gone. If a CI agent will leak content from a FISA warrant, God knows what other lengths have been met.

And might I remind you that Obama administration officials (if not Obama himself) were reading the very intercepted communications provided by those FISA warrants. Dirty Rice, Samantha Power and God knows who else. My money is on Ben Rhodes and Valerie Jarrett as well.

And that, to me, is the biggest takeaway from this story. The Russia probe is rotten at its core and there is no telling how far they’ve actually gone to go after this president and where the initial orders originated. Do you think Barry Obama was unfamiliar with the dossier and its genesis? Do you really think that he was unaware of a Clinton campaign document that was being used by his own FBI to spy on his arch nemesis?

While many blanks have yet to be filled, basic logic dictates that this story is much bigger than we even know. This operation was not simply the brainchild of a rabid anti-Trump CI agent. We’ve seen the text that says the White House “wants to know everything.”

Now do you see why Barry is on his campaign tour decrying “conspiracy theories”?

I suppose the silver lining here is that PDT is reportedly planning to declassify the FISA and Bruce Ohr docs “sometime this week.” I hope that sometime is sooner rather than later, because we’re getting into some really bad stuff here and I can’t imagine Fraud Rosenstein and his Deep State brethren allowing much more to come out without a fight.

Mr. President, declassify those documents.

Rep. Meadows, offer those men whistleblower protection.

As for you folks, stay tuned, because this story is unraveling fast. We’re going to learn the truth. The People’s President will see to it.
