Two counties with a rich history of electoral corruption are adding to their annals this week, as Broward and Palm Beach officials have begun a Democrat comeback campaign that stinks from Key West to Puerto Rico.
Florida Gov. Rick Scott is suing Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes, alleging that her office has withheld crucial voter information, contributing to the current situation in which Scott and his socialist opponent Andrew Gillum appear headed for a recount.
The lawsuit, filed this evening, accuses Snipes’s office of withholding records regarding how many people voted, how many ballots have been counted and how many more votes remain untallied in Broward, all information that seems to be oddly out of grasp for those tasked with providing it. Those aren’t just instances of incompetence; they’re crimes.
In a press conference in Tallahassee on tonight, Scott accused Snipes of having a “history of acting in bad faith” and called into the question where new vote tallies in Broward and Palm Beach counties were coming from.
“The people of Florida deserve fairness and they deserve transparency and the supervisor of elections is refusing to give it to us,” Scott said.
“Every Floridian should be concerned there may be rampant fraud happening in Palm Beach and Broward counties,” he added.
“The lack of transparency raises substantial concerns about the validity of the election process,” his lawsuit reads. It demands an emergency hearing ahead of a critical noon Saturday deadline for county canvassing board to submit election results to the state Division of Elections.
In Florida, if two candidates are within 0.5 points of each other, it triggers an automatic machine recount, while a margin of 0.25 points or less prompts a hand recount. As of right now, Scott led Nelson only 0.18 points — well within the margin for a hand recount.
Perhaps the most outrageous part of this story is the fact that Snipes still holds her position at all. Electoral fraud is her specialty and her rap sheet a mile long. Of course, in the Dim party, that’s an asset rather than a liability.
She literally got busted destroying ballots in last year’s congressional primary involving Rep. Debbie WhyDidntIthinkOfThisIn2016 Schultz. The case — one of three independent lawsuits launches against Snipes office — was actually filed in circuit court by a Democrat, Tim Canova. He wanted to inspect the optical-scan ballots cast in his Aug. 30 primary race against DWS because he “had concerns about the integrity of the elections office.” That’s one way of putting it.
Snipes’ office, however, destroyed the paper ballots in question in September — in the middle of Canova’s lawsuit — but says it’s lawful because the office made high-quality electronic copies. The problem with that is the digital copies can be altered. That’s why it’s against the law.
And now, Gov. Scott has identified at least three crimes — the failures to provide the aforementioned three types of information — and there are almost certainly more to come.
As Marco Rubio pointed out on Twitter:
“#BayCounty was hit by a Cat 4 Hurricane just 4 weeks ago, yet managed to count votes & submit timely results. Yet over 41 hours after polls closed #Broward elections office is still counting votes? “
This isn’t just a matter of not passing the smell test; it’s nakedly corrupt
He then goes on to point out that Snipes says she doesn’t know how many ballots are left to be counted and is failing to reporting hourly (or even regularly) as required by law. Yet thousands of additional votes continue to be released in the dead of night that are continually chipping away at the GOP lead.
There are also extremely shady mathematical anomalies, such as the fact that Broward County shows a 4% difference between Senate and Governor (no other county had more than a 1% difference between the two contests). There were also more votes cast for Agriculture Commissioner than for U.S Senate, which makes sense to precisely no one with a brain, although some Dims are blaming the design of the ballots themselves. Funny how no one else had trouble with it except the Dim areas.
If those facts don’t convince you that something shady is afoot, I’m sure this will seal the deal.
Marc Elias, the Clinton attorney who literally hired Fusion GPS to compile the pee-pee dossier that the FBI later used to spy on the Trump campaign, is now in Florida representing Sen. Nelson in his operation to steal the election from Gov. Scott.
Elias is claiming that optical-scan machines may not have registered ballots that were poorly marked, and he contended that Nelson would emerge victorious from a recount.
Elias is the go-to guy in the Dim Party for all their most corrupt operations. He is chair of the Political Law Group at the Perkins Coie law firm. He represented Hillary’s 2016 presidential campaign as well as the Democratic National Committee. Perkins Coie is nothing more than a black ops firm for the Democrat party. He knows where all the bodies are buried, and now he’s overseeing the recount for Bill Nelson.
What could go wrong?
Both Scott and DeSantis are now within the margin required to trigger an automatic recount, but unless the two Republicans pull away in vote count soon, this show is long from over.
Early votes aren’t even done being counted yet and they’re supposed to be uploaded a half hour before poll closings to be counted immediately. Broward and Palm Beach don’t have any clue how many votes are coming in and they refuse to fulfill their legal requirements to report on the process.
A Florida teacher says she discovered a locked ballot box that was left behind at a polling site in Miramar, claiming she came across the box this afternoon and said it was located in the same area at Sunshine Elementary School where voting had been held earlier this week. That teacher said she also reportedly contacted her friend, Democratic State Rep. Shevrin Jones, who just happens to be a close confidante of Andrew Gillum, seeking help about the discovery.
The evidence of electoral fraud is overwhelming, even in these early stages. Gov. Scott’s lawsuit certainly has merit, and thankfully he has a Republican Attorney General to ensure that fraud is fully prosecuted.
The facts on the ground dictate that Snipes’ office should be in deep doo-doo, but I can make no guarantees.
I hope Scott and DeSantis are ready to keep fighting, because the Left certainly are willing to go to any length to override the voice of the Floridian people.
It’s a disgrace, and it has to end.
