I recently covered a story regarding the possible marriage of Rep. Ilhan Omar to her brother, which was…interesting. In the absence of any sort of smoking gun, I was forced to weigh circumstantial evidence and determine the likely truth. After a great deal of examination and logical inference, there was enough evidence on both sides to call it a draw. There was simply no way to prove it one way or the other.
As time has passed, that math could be changing.
Thanks to recent probes into campaign finance violations—they do those for Democrats now, too!—state agencies in Minnesota and tireless (real) journalists have produced documents that are helping to fill out what remains a suspiciously incomplete picture.
Before I get started, I’d like to applaud the amazing investigative work by the independent journalists at PJ Media and Alpha News, especially David Steinberg. They’ve put in some serious elbow grease to gather evidence despite great efforts to hinder their work. This piece is heavily reliant upon their findings.
Let’s examine the many facts that beg questions and demand answers.
